Wonderful shot, Sowmya... in every aspect! Thanks for sharing!! Did you happen to see a green flash as the sun dropped below the horizon that day? I've read that if you watch enough sunsets where there's an unobstructed view to the horizon, you stand a fairly good chance of seeing the amazing green flash phenomena. You have to be pretty quick on the shutter to capture one, but I've done so twice, so I know it's possible. I really appreciate your comment, Tony. I, unfortunately, did not observe any green flash. I also checked other photos in my collection but have neither captured nor observed any so far. But I am certainly going to be on the lookout! :-)

Beautiful! The sunrise and sunset are among the most difficult things to depict. The ever changing hues are rather challenging.
